01 — About

Curious by nature.
Storyteller by choice.

I studied Law, worked two years at a law firm, and finally passed the Portuguese Bar Exam in 2023. But the whole time, I was already working with brands: running marketing for ELSA (The European Law Students' Association), founding a jewelry label, marketing music events, and helping launch a creative agency.

In 2023, I made the full leap to marketing with OpenBB, a fintech startup building the AI workspace for investment teams. It turns out the two worlds aren't so different: precise language, complex ideas, and skeptical audiences.

I do my best work in small, fast-moving teams — close enough to the product to help shape how it's talked about from early on.

3 YEARS AS A SOLO MARKETER IN A
PRODUCT-LED GROWTH STARTUP

Working directly alongside the CEO, I acted as his right hand for all external-facing initiatives, building the company's voice, community, and marketing strategy from scratch.

Product Marketing

Driving GTM from positioning to activation
  • Lead go-to-market execution for 15+ product launches — participating in leadership OKR and product meetings, translating discussions into positioning and messaging frameworks, and organic campaigns that drive activation, with no sales team
  • Maintain and update the OpenBB website with little engineering support, driving consistent organic inbound (~40-60k monthly website visits in the past year)
  • Produce sales support materials for enterprise conversations — one-pagers, decks, and private demos prep
